Hotel Motto is a centrally located boutique hotel and we were very happy with our stay here. There is a metro station right outside, which was convenient. Our flight arrived early in the morning and although our room wasn't available yet, the front desk was able to move things around so we could check into another room. Being able to check into a room 6 hours early at no extra charge was so appreciated after a long flight. The room was beautifully designed and had everything we needed. We liked that the tap was ice cold for us to drink right out of, and there was no wait for the hot water to heat up in the shower and the tub. The only real negative was that the thermostat in the room didn't seem to work, and there are no phones in the room, so we had to go down to the lobby to ask them to turn the heat up. Despite this, we had a wonderful stay. Give them a follow on instagram and you might win a free night for one of their give-aways like I did :)
We had a lovely 3 night stay - the room was excellent- beautifully decorated, very comfy bed and so quiet which is highly unusual in a busy hotel.
Location was really good as it was so close to the underground.
We ate one evening in the restaurant which is very popular- for obvious reasons. A really nice rooftop bar.

Location is very good, walking distance to shopping street and attractions. Rooms are well designed and beds are comfortable. We encountered a few issues: the hallways smelled like seafood all the time. Elevators were only two and used by hotel guests, housekeepers and outside guests visiting the bar/restaurant on top floor, so sometimes we had to wait ages to get to our room. On 01 Jan upon check out in the morning, the reception staff was rude and uncooperative: we forgot a pair of gloves in the room and she did not let us go upstairs to grab them. Overall we left with a bitter experience, even though the other members of staff were assisting very well with booking taxis and other services up to that point.
